Visakhapatnam: A cyclone hazard to the North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Odisha in the next two to three days. The India Meteorological Department experts said that isolated rains will occur from October 16 and common rains on October 18 and 19 across coastal region of AP. Due to the influence of cyclonic circulation over eastwest zone and southwest Bay of Bengal, a low-pressure area is likely to form over Bay of Bengal with associated cyclonic circulation extending upto almost 5k above mean sea level tilting towards southwestwards.
The experts also said that it is very likely to intensify into a depression during next 48 hours and move northwestwards reaching north Andhra Pradesh coast and south Odisha by morning of October 19.
