By winning elections in Karnataka, Prof Nageshwar said the BJP wants to prove that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity is intact even after GST and demonetisation.

BJP is called as the north Indian party, stated Nageshwar, adding that the win in Karnataka will give the BJP a chance to say that party is accepted by all regions in the nation. If the Congress wins Karnataka then it will be a boost for the party to perform well in the ensuing Assembly elections for Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
