Chandrababu will lay foundation stone for Spill Channel work, as part of Polaravam project in West Godavari district. Later, he will meet the irrigation officials.
Chandrababu's tour is in keeping with his agenda of visiting the dam site every Monday, to inspect the pace of works. The state government is taking up the works on its own, even though Polavaram has been declared a national project. It is paying from its own pocket, expecting the Centre to reimburse it at a later date.
