For the first time, Intermediate exams (scheduled from February 28 for 1st year students) will be held under the surveillance of closed circuit cameras installed in all exam centres.

Besides use of CC cameras to prevent malpractice, the Board of Intermediate Education has also designed IPE Centre Locator app to help students find their exam centres without any confusion.

“The mobile application, which can be downloaded from Google Play store, will make it convenient for students to locate their exam centres and reach on time,” said Board Secretary B. Udayalakshmi.

A total of 10,26,891 students (5,09,898 in 1st year and 5,16,993 in 2nd year) will appear for the exams in 1423 centres across the 13 districts besides 48 self-centres.
