Rape attempt on Minor Girl in Eluru

Eluru : Three persons are tried to rape a minor 9thclass girl in Eluru on Saturday. The Incident happened on Saturday around 10 'O' clock. It is learned that Vijay has been harassing the girl in the name of love for the past some time. As per sources, Vijay along with his two friends Suresh and Rakesh have kidnapped her and tried to rape her but when she resisted and screamed they left the place. Meanwhile, they slit her throat with a knife. The girl was undergoing treatment at the eluru government hospital. Eluru Two Town Sub-Inspector K Ramarao said that the police registered a case and investigation has begun. They launch a manhunt to nab the accused.
