AP Assembly winter session to start from today

Amaravati : The winter session of Andhra Pradesh assembly and council will be begin on Friday. These sessions is likely to be held for 10 days. The main opposition party YSRCP had boycotted the winter session in protest against the Assembly Speaker Kodel Siva Prasadarao for not taking any action against defected MLAs, who had defected to the ruling party. Without opposition in the Assembly, the government is likey to introduce important bills during the session. It was decided to discuss at least 10 questions every day and 200 questions in 10 days. The police officials deployed 1,000 cops for security in and around the Assembly premises and 400 police personnel at check-posts on six roads leading to Assembly.
