Amaravati: Senior IAS Officer Bhanwarlal retired from his services yesterday. The Andhra Pradesh Government decided to take disciplinary action against bhanwarlal due to failed to pay the rental arrears. Post bifurcation Bhanwarlal allocated to AP cadre and continues to be the election commissioner. He retired on tuesday. He was appointed as Collector of Hyderabad District in november 1996. At that time he was assigned an official collector's residence (Quarter No. 33) at Road No. 13 in Banjara Hills. In July 2000, Bhanwarlal replaced Arvind Kumar as a collector. Bhanwarlal should vacate his official residence and transfer to the newly appointed officer immediately after the transfer. But until the 9th of May 2006 unofficially stayed within the quarter.
