Amaravati:  The Fathima Medical College students and their parents came to Vijayawada to meet Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas to explain to them their plight. Fathima Medical College Students and their parents went to CM residence on sunday to meet the Chief Minister but the Security personal denied the permission to meet CM. The press conference was held by Fathima College Students at Vijayawada Press Club.
Recently, the MCI and the central government did not agree to replace 99 medical seats. This led to the student's situation becoming more complicated. While the AP government is ready to give up 100 seats next year, the government has come up with 11 Medical Colleges for Fatima College students this year. However, the Supreme Court has dismissed the petition filed by the AP government after the MCI and the central government refused to accept it.
