RTC Metro Bus rams on commuters, Three killed

Vijayawada: Three killed and four others sustained severe injuries when an RTC Metro Express bus rammed pedestrians and commuters at Budameru bridge in Vijayawada on Thursday. The victims were identified as Kurished(40) and Hursha(12) who are from the same family and third person details are yet to known. The incident occurred when the bus has reached the budameru bridge, the driver applied breaks, but vent in vain hit the byk and auto.
The Injured were rushed to a private hospital in Eluru road for treatment. Police registered a case and took up the investigation. Locals blamed the government as bus was not fit to run and also for not lying new bridge.
