Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu's efforts to select designs for the construction of capital city in Amaravati did not make any advance as the consulting agencies, appointed by the government, unaware to portray the nativity in the designs.
CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu had instructed NAD -National Institute of Designs to prepare architectural design for the capital. Later the government approached Japan's Makhi Architecture company and also invited global companies.
Finally, Chandrababu selected London based Narmaposter to finalise the designs and also announced the designs will be put on online and seek suggestions from the public. But now, the CM put on hold seeking public opinion and decided to go to London along with Director Rajamouli and others officials to finalise the designs.
Normally, the companies should have consult local people and study local tradition and culture before finalising the designs. The nativity must reflect in the designs.
