AP Health & Tribal Welfare Minister Kidari Sravan Kumar is likely to tender his resignation on or before May 10th. On Tuesday, Governor ESL Narasimhan informed AP CM Chandrababu Naidu about the necessity to make Sravan Kumar resign. Last year, Maoists gunned down Araku MLA Kidari Sarveswar Rao for illegal mining in the agency region. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu inducted Sarveswar Rao's Son Sravan Kumar into his cabinet to remain supportive of the bereaved family.

As per the Constitution, A Minister should become a member of the House within 6 months after the swearing-in ceremony or else he/she will be losing the post. Kidari Sravan Kumar was neither an elected MLA nor an MLC. 6 Months Period will be completed by May 10th as he was sworn-in as Minister on November 11th.

Kidari Sravan Kumar might be meeting AP Chief Minister on Wednesday to discuss about this matter. He might proceed according to the instructions from Party Supremo Chandrababu Naidu.
