Several posts on social media state that Jana Sena offices were being closed and that the party president K. Pawan Kalyan would vacate his house in Amaravati and go back to acting, fearing rout in the elections, but the party cadre say the party is strong in Andhra Pradesh. Two photos of JS offices with “to let” boards circulating on the social media have triggered the rumours.

However, sources in the party denied the rumours  and said that only the party’s IT office in Hyderabad was closed as it was opened for the purpose of elections  only. The local election offices opened by the JS candidates for election campaign purpose in their areas were also closed by the respective candidates.

The JS leaders opened election campaign office of JS candidate for Guntur MP seat Bonaboina Srinivas Yadav and Guntur West JS aspirant T. Chandrasekhar on the Road No. 14/1 at Arundelpet in Guntur. There was hectic political activity witnessed at this office till April 11 but now, it wears a deserted look.

On April 16, “To Let” board was hanged to the same JS office. On April 17, the JS posters and boards were removed. Similarly, “To Let” board was hanged to JS IT center office in Hyderabad and these photos are in circulation on social media, stating that they were closed due to poor response  in the elections.
