Vangaveeti Radha to join TDP on Jan 25

AP Chief Minister and TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu has confirmed Vangaveeti Radha’s joining in TDP. Radha is going to join the party on 25 of this month. Speaking to important leaders of Krishna district on Monday night immediately after cabinet meeting, Mr. Naidu said that “Keeping the party interests in view, we are taking him (Radha) into party. I want to inform you that all the leaders in the district have to work together along with him”. TDP president asked Ministers Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, Kollu Ravindra, Vijayawada city president Buddha Venkanna, district president Batcchula Arjanudu and party general secretary Varla Ramaiah to meet him. During the meeting he informed-“We want to take Radha into party. Tell your opinion on this”. All the leaders told him that they are abide by the party president’s decision. However, Buddha Venkanna appealed to Mr. Naidu to do justice to Devineni Avinash, son of former minister Devineni Nehru. Replying to him, he assured “I will look into the matter and do justice.

Earlier, Radha held a meeting with members of `Radha Mitra Mandali’ and followers of late Vangaveti Ranga from Krishna, East and West Godavai districts in large number. Initially the followers suggested him joining Janasena in view of community equations. Then, all of them vociferously supported Radha’s view of joining TDP.

However, the leaders of Radha Mitra Mandali who spoke to media have asked people not to vote to YSRCP as the party chief Jaganmohan Reddy is selling party tickets and denied ticket to Radha.
