Mukya Mantri Yuvanestam: Over 4 lakh beneficiaries crossed

IT Minister Nara Lokesh said that the beneficiaries under the Mukya Mantri Yuvanestam scheme crossed 4 lakh by Thursday with in 70 days after launching the programme. According to this scheme youth will get Unemployment Allowance of Rs 1000 from this December 1. 

Addressing in a press release, he said that there was no other such government scheme across India, where such massive number of youth being provided financial assistance. No time limit to apply for the benefits under the scheme and all the youth must apply through online portal only, he said. He inofrmed that state government will provide allowance on first of every month for those who applied by 25th of previous month.

He said that the government has decided to encourage women in the state to take the allowance. He said that majority among the applied persons are men and they are getting it, the number is less among women. The minister directed the concerned officials to create awareness among the eligible women to apply for the allowance.
