It is the time to save the nation and save democracy: CM

In what can be a historic step in the Indian politics, Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP which had been vehemently fighting against Congress ever since its inception has joined the hands with Congress. TDP supremo and AP CM Chandrababu has met Congress president Rahul Gandhi at New Delhi on Thursday."Yes, we had past. Past is over. We're not going to get into past. We are going to talk about the present and about the future. It is critical for the country. It is to provide vision to the country," said Rahul Gandhi in a joint press conference with Chandrababu at Delhi.

Chandrababu Naidu added, "It is high time all opposition parties to join forces to save nation and save democracy. In principle, we agree with Congress. Some of you might have doubt about our friendship. But it is a democratic compulsion. Since Congress is main opposition party, all the opposition parties should work together." Naidu elaborated how all the institutions including CBI are being effected.  Congress president Rahul said all opposition parties will work together to defend the democracy. 

Naidu's Delhi tour and meeting with tall leaders like Rahul, Sharad Pawar and other national leaders is a big step against Modi government. Both Congress and TDP gave a call for defeat of Modi to save the nation.
