Cyclone Titli affect : No power supply in Srikakulam district

Power supply was completely disrupted in Srikakulam district which was badly hit by Titli cyclone in the last 24 hours. AP TDP unit President Kala Venkat Rao said that electric polls were uprooted under the influence of heavy winds in many areas. As many as 12 mandals in the district bore the brunt of the natural calamity as power supply was completely shut. The TDP leader said that 2000 electric staff were pressed into the service to restore power supply. Power supply will be resumed in two days, he added.
