BJP is all set to file Contempt petition against CM Chandrababu Naidu in the Mumbai High Court. Speaking to media, Kanna Lakshminarayana alleged AP Chief Minister has launched a malicious campaign against PM Modi for political gains. He informed that Contempt petition would be moved against the TDP Supremo in the High Court for using Non-Bailable Warrant issued by the Dharmabad Court for political gains.

Saffron Party Leaders questioned how could CM held BJP responsible for Non-Bailable Warrant if the Babli Case was filed by Congress Government in 2010. They accused Naidu of enacting a new drama for political mileage ahead of 2019 Polls.

On the other hand, MP GVL Narasimha Rao told that BJP will move privilege motion against CM Chandrababu Naidu for misleading the public by lying in the Assembly regarding Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of Petro-Chemical Complex in Kakinada. 'Chandrababu Naidu informed Assembly that other States such as Rajasthan were granted Petro-Chemical Complex for IRR of 10 percent, but 14 percent was demanded from AP. It's absolutely false. VGF of 948 crore per year for a period of 15 years was sought from AP in the form of interest-free loan. This is less than what Rajasthan and Odisha have been charged,' he explained.
