Telugu Desam Party (TDP) damage control on Paritala-Pawan kalyan Ravi issue?

Amaravati : Pawan Kalyan's Chalo Re Chalo Re tour in Andhra Pradesh, Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan made a sensational revelation about slain TDP leader Paritala Ravi tonsuring his head rumour. Pawan alleged that it was the then ruling TDP government that propagated rumors that paritala Ravi had got his head tonsured following a land dispute.

Even though Pawan didn't attack the TDP vehemently throughout his 4-day tour, his allegations about the TDP’s involvement in the head tonsuring issue has damaged the yellow party's reputation to an extent. The fact that no senior TDP leader has condemned Pawan’s allegations has further added fuel to fire.

Acting quickly to control the damage, the TDP think-tank has employed Paritala Ravi's wife and present TDP minister Paritala Sunitha. Sunitha said that her husband had no issue with Pawan and that there was no truth to the rumors about Ravi tonsuring Pawan's head. This statement by Sunitha has not only relieved Pawan fans, but also taken off the blot on the TDP.
