Onion Prices hit record high in Telugu States

Amaravati : Onion Price hits high, likely to reach Rs 100 per kg in Telugu States as it is already reached Rs 100 in Mumbai and Delhi Market. Prices are skyrocketing as the production is mismatching with the demand. Andhra Pradesh government responded over the Onion Prices and is supplying onions at Subsidised Rate in Visakha Raitu Bazaar at Rs 40 per Kg.
Shop owners say that govt supplied 10 bags of onions to each stall with the instructions to give only 2kg to each customer. Andhra Pradesh people demand government to keep price control over vegetables.
