Pooan Kaur Special Gift to Barack Obama

Amaravati : Poonam Kaur met former US President Barack Obama and gifts saree to to the former president. On Friday, she got a chance to meet former US President Barack Obama during the meeting of Obama Foundation at the ongoing Hindustan Times Leadership Summit in New Delhi. She handed over handloom weaved outfit to Obama on behalf of AP Government at the event. 

Poonam Kaur is the brand ambassador of handlooms in Andhra Pradesh. On her birthday this year, She visited few villagers to know about the plight of the weavers and create awareness among people about handloom products. This former Miss Andhra has been using every opportunity to promote handlooms. This particular photograph of Poonam and Obama has gone viral on social media.
