Stop Polavaram, Odisha CM writes to Centre

Amaravati : Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to stop the Polavaram construction, which is a violation of Odisha's interests. The letter requested that the Polavaram should be stopped till the Court Cases is resolved.
The Polavaram Irrigation Project is being undertaken by Andhra Pradesh on the river Godavari, while Orissa has vociferously opposed it, saying a huge number tribal people and many villages in Malkangiri district will be affected by the project.
