Electricity Rates will not rise in AP : Kala

Amaravati : AP Power Minister Kala Venkatrao said that the government will not increase electricity charges for the state as per the promise given by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Every October and December, the APERC will conduct a public inquiry into the scope of power charges and increase the rate of fare hikes and reductions. SC, STs would have to register themselves for free electricity. The shortage of transformers in the state is to solve soon.
