Amaravati : Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that my lifetime mission is to complete the Polavaram project, polavaram is the heart of Andhra Pradesh. The Polavaram project is expected to be completed by the end of 2019, making monday is polavaram day with a special focus. He has revealed that he has visited the project area 20 times so far.
Polavaram project headworks, spillway works 72 %, diafrom wall works 47.99 % and soil works 72 % completed. Radial gates are completed with 100 %. So far Rs.12,567.22 crore has been invested on polavaram, In that and Rs 4,329 crores came from the center. We have sent the revised estimates to Rs 58,391 crore., he added.
