Hyderabad : After State bifurcation, there is a long pending demand to divide of common High Court at Hyderabad for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh is set to be resolved by next year May-June as the Central Government approved for the division of common High Court.
The new high court will be established temporarily at Medha Towers near Gannavaram airport at Vijayawada. The permanent high court at Justice City will be established in Amaravati.
As per the procedure, the centre will send a proposal to the Union law ministry, which forwards it to the Union Cabinet. After its approval, the President Ramnath Kovind will issue a circular notifying the principal seat of the new HC and the appointment of judges.
