YS Jagan promises to handloom weavers

Anantapur : YSRCP Chief Y.S. Jagan has given a promise to the dharmavaram handloom waivers. He promised them that when he becomes CM he will ensure that handloom weavers from 45 years onwards will be given Rs 2,000 per monthly pension said in a meeting at Dharmavaram.
The State Government now giving only Rs.1000  per waiver, YS Jagan said that we will double the pension when we came into power. The waivers doing relay hunger strike for the past 37 days in Dharmavaram demanding for clearance of the pending subsidy for the raw silk.
"Our government will come to power within a year. I promise to give Rs.2,000 per monthly pension".He sought to remind them that the TDP government overdue the weaver community subsidy dues several crores in Anantapur district alone.
