AP Govt decided to continue Sambasivarao as DGP

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to continue Sambasivarao as DGP for the next 2 years based on his community and his performance. Sambasivarao is currently serving as incharge Director General of Police. He took charge as incharge DGP in Last year june. According to the sources, it is a political decision keeping 2019 elections in mind.The AP government will send a list of top five senior IPS officers to the Union Public Service Commission. The five IPS officers names are ACB DG RP Thakur, RTC CMD Malakondaiah, V K Kaumudi, Ramana Murthy and Sambasivarao.
