Funds shortage will delay Polavaram Project

Amaravati: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is troubled with the slow pace of Polavaram project works. He said Polavaram project completion will be completed by 2019 only when enough funds are sanctioned by the central government of India.
The state government wants to change the contract firm transstroy but the central government is not intense to change the main contractor. He stressed on the need of thinking practically about Polavaram Project Completion.Chandrababu said that transstroy is unable to pay money for machinery and workers.
