Diwali festival postponed in AP

Amaravati:The Andhra Pradesh State Government has adjusted the Diwali holiday to Oct 19 from Oct 18.Many pandits,employees and officials have appeals the govt to adjustment the official holiday from Oct 18 to Oct 19 as they found out that no moon is viewed on 19 and the festival of Diwali would be observed on no moon day and a GO has been released for this concern.
Earlier the Government of Telangana also changed the Diwali holiday date after some objections were raised.
