Godavari Utsavalu celebrations start at Rajahmundry

Thu, Sep 28 : Godavari Utsavalu celebrations begin on a grand scale at Rajahmundry. The two-day celebrations are being organised by AP Tourism Department at Kotilingala Ghat, on the occasion of the World Tourism Day. The government is organising such celebrations in Visakhapatnam and Rajahmundry for the first time.
The celebrations began with Archakas performing Harati to river Godavari. Later, artists presented devotional dance performances. The drums show by Sivamani has enthralled the audience. The visitors cherished the taste of food prepared by Godavari residents at food festival.
