Pensions to transgenders

Amaravati, Sept 22: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced that the transgender community will be supported by the government with housing, ration cards and pension of Rs.1000.
In first of its kind, CM said that employment opportunities will be created.
"CM instructed all the collectors to ensure that transgenders avail the govt. schemes of housing, ration, and pensions," tweeted the official Twitter account of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
