What about Lokesh situation in Mangalagiri?

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is planning to elevate his son Lokesh as his heir apparent. In his last regime, he made his son Lokesh as the Minister in his cabinet through backdoor by making him the MLC.

Lokesh this time contested from Mangalagiri constituency for the elections. Sources say many TDP leaders warned Chandra Babu saying 'enduku sir pratyaksha ennikalu. enchakka MLC quota lo mantri ayyaru kada.. endukaayanni anavasaramga ibbandi pedataru ? ( why sir direct elections. Any way he became minister in MLC quota. Why are you unnecessarily troubling him with the direct elections?". But Chandra Babu didn’t listen to them and made Lokesh to contest the elections. 

Some say Lokesh himself showed over excitement to contest the elections. Lokesh gave lot of entertainment and even opportunity to opponents with his speeches and flip-flops. 

Now inside talk  is a top TDP leader invested huge amounts betting on Lokesh's defeat. This is creating lot of sensation in AP political circles. Sources say the leader is from Guntur district. 

Sources say Chandra Babu took a serious class when reports reached him that a Minister from Northern Andhra and TDP leader from Rayalaseema had intense discussions about Lokesh's defeat with their close aides.  Lokesh is however expressing confidence that he will win with super majority irrespective of what others say. He is also claiming that not only he will win with bumper majority but it will impact and power TDP to win majority seats in Guntur and also owing to his campaigning, TDP will come to power.
