AP: Former NGOs president Ashok Babu joins Telugu Desam

Former AP NGOs president Ashok Babu has joined Telugu Desam Party in the presence of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati on Thursday. Ashok Babu, who was working as Assistant Commercial Tax Officer, has given voluntary retirement to his job and joined the active politics on the call of CM.
Chandrababu Naidu has welcomed him into the party by facilitating him with TDP shawl. During this Ashok Babu has thanked CM Naidu for giving him MLC seat. Ashok Babu, Samanthakamani, has filed the nominations for the MLC elections under MLA's quota at Assembly on Thursday.
