Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy House Arrested Over Dumping Yard

YSRCP MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy was placed under house arrest on Friday for protesting against the dumping yard in Ramapuram. The police disrupted a dharna staged by him three days ago. They also arrested 50 YSRCP leaders and imposed 144 section in the area.
The dumping yard which is 11km from Tirupati is causing serious pollution and health hazards to the people in villages near the dumping yard. Over 170 trips with 70 trucks and tractors corporation authorities have been shifting the garbage every day to Ramapuram dumping yard.
With the support of MLA CheviReddy Bhaskar Reddy, the villagers demanded the shifting of the yard from the area and staged a protest on the issue.
