In a shocking development, the Enforcement Directorate, for the first time since 2013, mentioned YS Jagan's wife YS Bharathi as an accused in the YSRCP President's illegal investments case. Bharathi has been chargesheeted in the Raghuram (Bharathi) Cements case that was filed before the Special CBI court in Hyderabad.

The ED stated that the funds were routed into Raghuram (Bharathi) Cements through Sandur Power, Caramel Asia Ltd. and other companies through Hawala payments.Meanwhile, Jagan took to Twitter and said, "Shocked to see the reports by select media today, where my wife was named as accused by ED. Saddened to see politics degraded to such levels where even family is not spared."
