Boy receives 5 lakh from AP CM for heart transplant

Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has extended financial help of Rs 5 lakh to a boy who has got heart transplantation surgery recently.Yashwant Chander Rao belonging to East Godavari district had been released Rs 7 lakh already by the government for paediatric heart transplantation purpose with help of Tanuku MLA Radha Krishna some time ago.  Now the boy again got financial help from government by the recommendation of Star hospital MD M Gopichand and Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas.  They met CM along with the boy at Velagapudi here on Thursday and explained his future expenditure for medical services to save him when he hails from a poor family.  They said Yashwant Chander Rao is first boy to get heart transplantation surgery from brain dead person.  On this occasion, Chief Minister wished him all the best and released the amount.
