Rajya Sabha's poll: YSRCP to vote against the NDA

YSRCP has decided to vote against the NDA's candidate in the election to the post of Rajya Sabha’s deputy chairman scheduled to be held on Thursday. YSRC Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy said that his party MPs would vote for the JDU candidate fielded by the Opposition parties.


Meanwhile, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is yet to take a decision as to whom it should support or whether it should abstain from voting. Sources said that the MPs were waiting for a direction from Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. YSRC has two members while TRS has six members in the Upper House
