Considering this, JP is now planning to contest for Lok Sabha polls 2019 either form Ongole or Vizag. It is learnt that TDP is keen to back JP.

JP was last seen active in Pawan Kalyan's Joint Facts Finding Committee. However, JP is planning to contest as independent with TDP's backing. Given that JP is clean and even served as personal secretary to NT Ramarao, TDP is wanting to support JP. After serving as Kukatpally MLA, JP is now wanting to contest direct polls but in national level. He wants to raise his voice strongly in the next Lok Sabha.
