Home guard killed by his wife

A home guard was killed by his paramour in a cruel way by immolating him after participating in sex by tying his hands and legs to the iron cot. The incident occurred in Konakanamitla mandal of Prakasam district and the police are investigating the case to find out those who helped the woman in the murder.

According to Podili CI M Srinivasa Rao, Shaik Shabbir of Podili joined the police department as a home guard in 2007. He was not attending the duties regularly for the past three years and the department was planning to dismiss him soon after conducting a formal inquiry as he was not responding to the notices. 

Meanwhile, he had started poultry business at Choutapalem and looking after it. Though he has wife and a son, he was living with one  Shakeera at the poultry.

On Sunday morning, Shakeera reached Konakanamitla police station and informed the officers that she killed Shabbir. She complained that he tortures her regularly and unable to bear harassment, she killed him. She said that she poured petrol on Shabbir and lit him in the early morning, when he is relaxing after having sex with her. The police sent the body for post-mortem. The CI said they are investigating the case.
