Centre may says no to vizag railway zone

The Centre seems to have done it again - saying one thing and doing exactly the opposite. After the steel plant fiasco, a repeat seems to be in the pipeline with regard to the Visakhapatnam Railway Zone.While sending signals loud and clear that it was in favour of making an announcement for the creation of a railway zone with Visakhapatnam as HQ next week, the Union Home Ministry, in an affidavit filed with the Supreme Court, made it clear that it was not possible to create a railway zone as it is financially not viable.
