Tirumala hundi sets new record collection

Srivari Hundi in Tirumala Temple set an all-time record collection on Thursday. As per the statistical data given by the Parakamani department, the Hundi collection stood at all time high of Rs 6.28 crore.The previous highest collection was recorded on April 2 on the day of Sri Rama Navami on Sunday in 2012 which was Rs 5.73 crore. The daily average Hundi collection which witnessed a dip after demonetisation, however, started picking up and crossed Rs 3 crore since a year.
