200 kg of ganja seized at Nellore

The sleuths of Narcotics Control Bureau from Bangalore have seized 200 kg of ganja at Budanam toll plaza on the NH-16 which was being transported from Visakhapatnam to Salem in Tamil Nadu. According to local police, Narcotics wing officials who received a tip off from the concerned smugglers, have intercepted a truck at Budanam toll plaza late on Sunday.
The contraband was concealed in a normal load and the officials checked and found ganja which was packed in 8 bags into 25 kg each one. They apprehended driver and cleaner of the truck and also another person and shifted them for interrogation along with the vehicle.
