At least three lakh lorries are off the roads in Andhra Pradesh (AP), following strike by lorry owners, over several issues including diesel price hike. They have been bringing to the notice of the Centre all their problems like price hike of diesel, but nothing has been done, they said. Activists of Central Industrial Trade Unions (CITU) participated in the strike. They took rallies and raised slogans against Centre's negligent attitude. Lorries were stopped in the middle of the road, impeding traffic flow.
