Candidates waiting for recruitment of teacher posts in government schools in Andhra Pradesh will have to wait longer. The DSC notification release has been postponed. Human Resources Development Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao made the announcement on Friday after releasing the 10th Class supplementary results.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that the decision of postponing the DSC notification has been taken since they have not received the approval from the Finance Ministry.

He said, “The Finance Ministry has sought for more details. They have responded and are awaiting the reply. We are also discussing the gazette released by the NCCT, which is also preferred in the SGT posts for BED candidates. We are looking at all the possibilities to release the notification for the TET/TRT."

On July 6, the Minister announced to release the notification regarding 10,351 teacher posts but the notification was postponed as the Finance Ministry did not approve the proposals sent from the school education department to replace teacher posts.

Candidates are complaining that the DSC notification has been postponed due to government negligence. Stating that they are spending lakhs on the coaching and are causing trouble for them by not releasing the notification, the candidates demanded the government to respond immediately and release the DSC notification.
