Anantapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy on Thursday sought to argue that there was nothing wrong in demanding that Chandrababu should remain AP CM for another 10 years.

“What is wrong is wanting him to be the CM for another 10 years when he is working for the development of the state,” he asked at a protest meet organized by the TDP MP Avanthi Srinivas on the issue of Vizag railway zone in Visakhapatnam.

He said the CM was fighting for the rights of the Telugus. The Congress had seriously erred during the bifurcation of the state and was hence rejected by the people. He said though he was a minister for 10 years in the Congress Government, he had never visited Polavaram project. He said Chandrababu was working overtime to speed up works on Polavaram. He said Chandrababu was striving to achieve economic sufficiency and self-reliance.
