Footwear thrown on BJP president Kanna

A Telugu Desam Activist threw slippers at Kanna Lakshminarayana. This incident took place when the AP BJP President was conducting rally in Kavali, Nellore District.BJP Activists got hold of the Telugu Desam Worker and thrashed him badly. They kept attacking the Worker even when Cops have been shifting him to the police station. Thereafter, BJP Workers staged dharna before Police Station in protest against the slipper attack. They pledged to fight against TDP's Rowdyism in Andhra Pradesh.

In the affidavit submitted in Supreme Court, Centre informed Special Category Status can't be accorded to AP. It didn't even mention Visakha Railway Zone but claimed to have fulfilled all the bifurcation promises. 

For AP Capital, NDA Government is ready to offer only Rs 330 crore per year in the next three years and that too if State Government offers UCs for Rs 2,500 crore sanctioned so far. Union Government claimed it has compensated the revenue deficit of financial year 2014-15 by offering just Rs 3900 crore. It informs feasibility of establishing Dugarajapatnam Port is being examined.
