Central govt's negligence in fulfilling bifurcation promises reached peaks as it has completely ignored Petroleum University in Vizag.
AP govt has made ready the lands and other necessities for its establishment and is in need of construction of permanent buildings. AP govt is conducting IICE classes in AU temporarily to realise the dreams of the students. Centre proposed to sanction Rs 655 cr for the Petro University but there is no clarity over fund release in this regard. Visakha is the ideal place for Petro University as it is the seat of Petroleum reserves and a known Petro Hub.
