At least Rs. 8,000 crs of both Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh (AP) and Telangana, are lying idle in banks, due to unresolved disputes between the two Telugu States.
According to AP Reorganisation Act, the funds have to be divided in the ration of 58:42 between AP and Telangana respectively. However, disputes over sharing of immovable assets are raging, with some of the cases in courts, leading to the money remaining unused. While some companies have already divided the funds, some other companies are still under dispute.
