Nageshwar raised series of questions about the credibility of the letter

Responding to the letter found by Pune cops of Maoists planning to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Prof K Nageshwar raised series of questions about the credibility of the letter. He asked why the Cabinet on Security Affairs did not call for an emergency meeting when there is a threat to the life of the Prime Minister.
He also asked why the NIA did not take the accused into the custody for further investigation. Nageshwar stated that the BJP wants to gain sympathy ahead of 2019 elections.
