RINL Got 'Star Performer Award' for Export Excellence

RINL (Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited) Visakhapatnam Steel Plant is the proud recipient of the prestigious National Award ‘Star Performer Award’ for Export Excellence for 2016-17. 

The award was instituted by Engineering Exports Promotion Council (EEPC), Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

The award was presented by CR Chaudhary, the Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, to the General Manager (Mktg) and Head of the Department, RINL, SK Chakrabarti, RINL, at a function in Delhi.

The CMD of RINL, P Raychaudhury, congratulated the marketing collective, particularly the exports team for the notable performance and for bringing laurels to the organisation.

The RINL has been showing continuous growth in exports. 

In 2017-18. The company exported 5.25 lakh tonnes of steel to various countries and achieved a turnover of Rs 1,725 crore. 

The RINL has been receiving this Star Performer National Award since two years and Star Performer Regional  Award for the last four years consecutively from EEPC, India for excellent performance in exports. 

Presently, the RINL is exporting its products to major countries, including Nepal, Sri Lanka, Phillipines, USA, Kenya, Thailand and Indonesia.
