'Skoch Order of Merit' Award To APIIC

The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) has introduced an interesting project, ‘Third Party Monitoring of Industrial Projects’ to bring transparency and accountability in investments made and employment generated in the state.Alluri Gowri Lakshmi, General Manager of APIIC, said in a statement here on Saturday that APIIC has been awarded the ‘Skoch Order of Merit’ under Skoch Good Governance Awards – 2018 for the project.

Skoch awards feature best projects across the country in the fields of governance, finance, banking, technology, corporate citizenship, economics and inclusive growth, she said.

Gowri Lakshmi said that the APIIC has received the award under the guidance of Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Babu A for implementing the close monitoring of industrial projects in the state.

According to her, this is for the second time the APIIC received the Skoch Order of Merit, earlier, it received Skoch Silver Technologies for Growth Award in December 2017 for bringing ICT-based transformation in process of allotment and building plan approvals.
